freak animals is a left-wing non-commercial network connecting politically motivated artists and publishers.
most of the content is focused on juxtaposed music, experimental photography and DIY distros. our aim is to build a community for grounded and incongruent theory, disharmonic replication and fatal stories.
FA exists since 2002 and in its 4.0 edition, launched in march 2012, it has been restructured to allow each of its participants' pages to run on the WordPress platform, making it more flexible, faster to update, DIY-friendly and a more effective infrastructure for collaboration and exchange. the support and administration is managed by a small collective of volunteers.
